Cat-chella 3: Benefit Concert for House of Dreams

Band Line-Up: Miss Rayon, Darkswoon, and Vibrissae

Cat-chella is the brainchild of a group of local musicians, volunteers, and animal lovers. Their mission is to support local animal welfare non-profits by increasing their visibility, raising awareness about their work, and fundraising on their behalf through live musical performance. Cat-chella was conceived as a concert series, supporting a different animal welfare beneficiary each time.

This year's Cat-chella is occuring at Black Water Bar (all vegan menu!) with all proceeds going to House of Dreams!

Visit House of Dreams volunteers at Food Fight's Volunteer Round-Up! At this event, hosted by Food Fight in Jet Black Coffee's parking lot (next door to Food Fight), Portlanders can meet representatives from various non-profits and sign up to volunteer. Come by and speak with us about how to get started volunteering with the kitties at House of Dreams. We'd love to have you!

Come see Rock Cats Rescue's Acro-Cats!

Rock Cat Rescue is presenting the The Amazing Acro-Cats in Portland, OR this weekend (May 25th and May 26th). Part of ticket and merchandise sales go to benefit local animal shelters, and that includes House of Dreams this year! Our volunteers will help staff the event and sell merchandise.

There will be four shows:

  • Saturday, May 25th at 3 PM (doors open at 2 PM)
  • Saturday, May 25th at 8 PM (doors open at 7 PM)
  • Sunday, May 26th at 1 PM (doors open at 12 PM)
  • Sunday, May 26th at 6 PM (doors open at 5 PM)

HOD's Annual Plant & Vegan Bake Sale--THIS WEEKEND!

House of Dreams' Annual Plant & Vegan Bake Sale--2019!

This weekend!!! After many months of planning, it's already here! 

This upcoming Saturday, April 20th, 2019 is our Annual Plant & Vegan Bake Sale and we will have lots of goodies for sale. We have a variety of plants and gardening gear, including indoor plants, cat grass, edibles, natives, pots, garden art, and more. Our bake sale will feature all sorts of vegan baked goods, including gluten-free items. We hold the bake sale as part of Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale month and appreciate your donations and support.

Please visit us to support the cats at House of Dreams. We are a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit and we depend on public support to provide care for the shelter kitties.

Do you know a mom? Are you a kitty mom? Bring your mom and hang with us on Mothers' Day! 

We are happy to hold another House of Dreams Movie Night kindly hosted by Lagunitas Community Room!

  • Sunday, May 12th from 3 to 6 PM
  • Suggested donation is $8, and includes vegan-friendly refreshments.
  • Kids free.
  • Wheelchair accessible.
  • Public transportation encouraged, but on-street parking is also available.
